Two silver sauce boats.

Condition Report

A 1930's silver sauce boat of classic Georgian style, with scalloped rim, high arch leaf capped handle and raised above three shell mounted hoof feet, hallmarked C J Vander Ltd, London 1935, height inclusive of handle measuring 5 inches (12.5 cm). Together with a similar early twentieth century example, hallmarked George Nathan & Ridley Hayes, Chester 1914. Gross weight 14.9 ozt (464 grams). (2).

Purchasing information
    The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The handles have imprinted into the body. Some heavier scratches from general use. Handle to the Chester example looks a little compressed. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
