Condition Report

OMEGA - a gentleman's Seamaster wrist watch. Hallmarked London 1981. Numbered 1965102. Signed quartz calibre. Silvered dial with baton hour markers, date aperture to three. 9ct yellow gold case with engraving to case back, fitted to an unsigned black leather strap with gold plated pin buckle. 34mm.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is not currently functioning, whether this is due to the need for a new battery or symptomatic of something more serious is unknown.
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye. Movement appears to show a replacement screw.
  • Dial appears to have marks and some bubbling to the surface. Dial also appears to have small pieces of debris attached when viewed under a 4x loupe. Luminous hour markers show discolouration. Date is not sitting in the aperture correctly.
  • Hands show marks, some tarnishing and some discolouration when viewed under a x4 loupe.
  • Glass has scratches and marks.
  • Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints. Case back has a noticeable patch of discolouration along with noticeable scratches. Case back shows a presentation engraving.
  • Crown is not currently functioning correctly; the surface has visible scratches and marks. When extended the crown sits an angle and may need attention.
  • Strap appears to be in good condition with minor marks and creasing.
  • Buckle shows marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.
