Condition Report

CHOPARD - a lady's Happy Sport wrist watch. Reference 8495, serial 1456690. Unsigned quartz movement. Mother-of-pearl dial with quarterly Roman numerals, date aperture to four, seven free play diamonds. Diamond set bezel, stainless steel diamond set case, fitted to a signed white alligator strap with a stainless steel pin buckle. 29mm. Please be aware that this item has had significant aftermarket intervention.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
  • Dial appears to be in an average condition with some light marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe. There is an area of tarnishing visible near the 9 o'clock hour marker at the edge of the dial. Diamonds appear bright and lively.
  • Hands show marks and tarnishing when viewed under a x4 loupe
  • Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Third party afterset case shows scratches, marks and dints.
  • Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking.
  • Strap shows marks and creasing.
  • Buckle shows marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.
