TIMEX - a lady's wrist watch together with another wrist watch.

Condition Report

TIMEX - a lady's wrist watch. Signed manual wind movement. White dial with an image of Mickey Mouse, pink Arabic numeral hour markers. Base metal case with stainless steel case back, fitted to an unsigned brown leather strap with gold plated pin buckle. 22mm. Together with a gentleman's wrist watch featuring the Beatles on the dial.

    Mickey Mouse Watch
  • The wind movement of the Mickey Mouse wrist watch is currently not functioning.
  • Movement seems to have medium scratches and heavy tarnishing.
  • Dial seems to be heavily discoloured with heavy pitting and several medium scratches.
  • Hands appear to be heavily chipped and tarnished, with areas of paint flaking around the centre.
  • Case appears to have light pitting and medium scuffs and scratches, the majority of which should polish out.
  • Glass appears to have been replaced with plastic, which shows medium scratches and chinks.
  • Crown currently shows medium scratches, pitting and tarnishing.
  • Case back seems to have medium scuffs and scratches, the majority of which should polish out, with several small chips.
  • Strap appears to be in good condition.
  • Buckle seems to be in good condition.

    Beatles Watch

  • The wind movement of the Beatles watch is currently functioning.
  • Movement seems to have medium scratches and light tarnishing.
  • The laminate of the dial is lifting and appears to be lightly scratched.
  • Hands appear to be heavily scratched with areas of discolouration and tarnishing.
  • Case appears to have medium scratches and heavy pitting. Significant tarnishing has resulted in the base metal being exposed in a number of places. Small scratches and chips are also present.
  • Glass appears to have been replaced with plastic, which shows heavy scratches and scuffs.
  • Crown currently shows heavy scratches and tarnishing.
  • Case back seems to have light scratches, the majority of which should polish out, with several small chips.
  • Strap appears to be in good condition.
  • Buckle seems to be in good condition.
