Condition Report

BAUME & MERCIER - a gentleman's chronograph wrist watch. Stamped 18K 0,750. Numbered 3916. Unsigned manual wind movement. Silvered dial with alternating Arabic numerals and arrow head hour markers, subsidiary recorder dials to three and nine. Yellow metal case fitted to an unsigned burgundy leather strap with stainless steel pin buckle. 37mm.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement is worn with some surface rust and noticeable scratches and marks visible to the naked eye.
  • Chronograph does not appear to be functioning currently.
  • Dial appears to be in a very poor condition, none of the original detail is legible. There is heavy tarnishing visible around several of the Arabic numerals.
  • Hands show marks and tarnishing with discolouration to the luminous paint.
  • Glass has noticeable scratches and marks.
  • Case shows scratches, marks and dints.
  • Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has noticeable scratches and dinting.
  • Strap shows wear with visible marks, creasing and discolouration.
  • Buckle shows marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.

    This lot does not come with box or papers.
