Condition Report

CARTIER - a Chronoscaph 21 chronograph wrist watch. Reference 2424, serial 32173PL. Signed quartz calibre 049. Black dial with luminous hour markers, subsidiary recorder dials to two, six and ten. Chapter ring bezel, stainless steel case fitted to an unsigned black rubber strap with stainless steel deployant clasp. 38mm. Box and papers.

  • Movement is not currently functioning, whether this is due to the need for a new battery or symptomatic of something more serious is unknown.
  • We are unable to gain access to the movement to assess the condition.
  • Dials shows some small marks.
  • Hands have marks and visible tarnishing.
  • Glass has marks and small scratches when viewed under a x4 loupe.
  • Bezel shows noticeable scratches and marks.
  • Case has noticeable scratches and marks.
  • Strap has wear, marks, tarnishing and some small splits to the rubber. Metal shows scratches and marks.
  • Buckle has scratches and marks.
