Condition Report

An early 20th century 18ct gold ruby and diamond ring. The graduated oval-shape ruby line, with old-cut diamond double spacers, to the scrolling gallery and shoulders. Estimated total diamond weight 0.35ct. Weight 3.7gms.

Purchasing information
    The lot is in good to fair overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Significant wear to the gallery and lower half of the band. Stamped 18ct. The diamonds appear bright and well matched. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Significant inclusions including surface reaching features. Small nick to larger ruby. Moderate abrasion. Estimated dimensions of principal ruby: 5.8 by 5.4, by 3.6mms. Ring size N 1/2.
