Condition Report

A late 19th century gold diamond and split pearl crescent brooch. The graduated old-cut diamond curved line, within a split pearl surround. Pin loose. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct. Length 3.8cms. Weight 4.9gms.

Purchasing information
    The lot is in good to fair overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. The pin is loose, bent to tip. Clasp is a replacement. Personal engraving 'J.B.N. & E.M.S. 11th October. 1893.' to reverse. The diamonds appear bright and well matched. Individual diamonds too small to accurately assess colour/clarity grades. Scattered, varying inclusions. The split pearls are well matched.
