OMEGA - a gentleman's gold plated wrist watch.

Condition Report

OMEGA - a gentleman's wrist watch. Numbered 135.011. Signed manual wind calibre 601. Champagne dial with baton hour markers. Gold plated case with stainless steel case back, fitted to an unsigned black leather strap with unsigned gold plated pin buckle. 34mm.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is not currently functioning.
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
  • Dial appears to have marks. Dial appears to have been refinished and the 'Seamaster 600' script added. Under a 4x loupe dial shows some pitting around the 'Seamaster 600' script.
  • Hands show marks and tarnishing. Hands have discolouration to the luminous inserts.
  • Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Case shows light scratches and marks. Case appears to have been repolished which has worn away some the gold plating. Case back may not be original to the watch and shows wear due to repolishing. Case sides have loss/wear to the plating at 3 and 9 o'clock to form holes close to the case back.
  • Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking. Crown shows some wear to the gold plating. Crown appears to be a later replacement.
  • Strap shows light marks and creasing.
  • Buckle shows marks and scratches.
