An early 20th century 9ct gold garnet and diamond snake ring. Designed as a coiled snake, with oval-shape garnet crest and diamond eye accents. Hallmarks for Chester, 1926. Weight 4.4gms.

    Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear and age. Band slightly out of shape. Garnet dark brownish-red with strong saturation and typical inclusions. Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimation. Ring size V.
