An early 20th century 18ct gold sapphire and diamond ring. The three vari-shape sapphires, with diamond accent edges, to the openwork gallery. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1903. Weight 3gms.

    Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear and age. Band slightly out of shape. Sapphires medium dark blue, fairly well saturated with typical clarity and straight colour zoning. Diamonds fairly well matched. Diamond fairly bright. Profuse light coloured inclusions significantly affects the passage of light through the diamonds. Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimation.
