Condition Report

A selection of gem-set bar brooches. To include an Edwardian 9ct gold opal and green gem scrolling brooch, an early 20th century 9ct gold green gem and split pearl brooch, together with a sapphire two-stone brooch and a further brooch. One split pearl deficient. Two with hallmarks for Birmingham, 1904 and 1928. Lengths 4.6 to 3.2cms. Total weight 7.8gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear in keeping with age/general wear. Some possible replacement stones. Some replacement pins. Second slightly misshapen, one split pearl deficient. Soft solder to reverse of the trefoil, composite piece. Sapphires have medium to slightly dark colour saturation. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions. Sapphires in good condition with minor abrasion. Other gemstones too small to accurately identify. Gemstones in fair condition with some abrasion and nicks.
