A mid 19th century split pearl and gem-set floral ring. The green-gem and split pearl quatrefoil, with pink sapphire and split pearl floral sides, to the openwork shoulders and grooved band. Weight 3.1gms.

Purchasing information-
Overall condition fair. Surface wear and discolouration in keeping with age. Extensive evidence of repairs and alterations, including alterations to the band and repairs to the settings. One large split pearl is a replacement, along with many other replacement gemstones and split pearls. Replacement split pearl differs in size, shape and appearance. Split pearls have creamy hues, fair skins with surface blemishes and wear, fair lustre. Pink sapphires vary slightly in hue/saturation. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions.
