Condition Report

A pair of late 19th century turquoise ear studs. Each designed as a circular turquoise cabochon cluster dome. Diameter 1.2cms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition fair. Some surface wear and discolouration in keeping with age. One turquoise deficient. Turquoise domes differ very slightly in appearance. Converted to ear studs, possibly from two different pieces of jewellery, with later added ear posts and fittings. One turquoise deficient. Some replacements. Turquoise greenish-blue to green, vary slightly in hue. Turquoise in fair condition with some abrasion and some small chips. Total weight 4.5gms.
