Two early 20th century gold gem-set bar brooches. To include a 15ct gold demantoid garnet and split pearl floral brooch and an Edwardian 9ct gold split pearl swallow bar brooch. One with hallmarks for Chester, 1901. Lengths 4.6 and 4.2cms. Weight 6.5gms.

Purchasing information-
Overall condition fair. Scratches to both brooches in keeping with the age of the brooches. Four split pearls deficient. There are four split pearls deficient from the swallow brooch. There are visible blisters and blemishes to the remaining split pearls. The demantoid garnets are in good condition, the split pearls are well matched again with visible blemishes. Demantoid garnet brooch stamped 15ct. The swallow brooch appears slightly bent. Please see important notices for purchasers in our catalogue and online for coloured gemstones.
