Condition Report

A 1970s 18ct gold sapphire and diamond cluster ring. The circular-shape sapphire, within a brilliant-cut diamond surround, to the tapered shoulders. Estimated total diamond weight 0.25ct. Hallmarks for London, 1975. Weight 4.3gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear. Claws may need attention as some have worn thin. The band has worn slightly thin. The sapphire is a dark blue colour with good saturation. Typical colour banding and surface nibbles visible with magnification. Diamonds individual size and setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. The diamonds are fairly bright, lively and well matched.
