Condition Report

A George III silver hot water pot by Paul Storr of Neoclassical form, the classic vase shaped body, crested and monogrammed, partly fluted with conforming reeded and gadrooned borders and scrolling fruitwood handle terminating in a winged serpent. Hallmarked Paul Storr, London 1813, numbered 1073. Maximum height measuring 10 1/2 inches (27 cm), 34 ozt (1061 grams).

Purchasing information
    The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The lid does not quite sit flush to the body. A little pitting across the surface of the body. Wooden handle with a hairline and blemishes. Hallmarks a little rubbed but legible. Part corresponding hallmarks to the inner lid.
