Condition Report

A Victorian silver twin-handled sugar bowl of part lobed oval form, hallmarked William Hutton & Sons (Edward Hutton), London 1886. Together with a slightly later and similar cream jug, hallmarked Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co., London 1898. Length of sugar bowl including handles measures 6 1/2 inches (16.5 cm), combined weight 8.39 ozt (260.8 grams). (2).

Purchasing information
    Both pieces appear in fair overall condition displaying general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with their age and use. Some heavier nicks and scuffs and a couple of knocks to foot rims. Also some shallow dints, mainly visible to the bases. The hallmarks on the sugar bowl are clear and legible. Some rubbing and partial distortion to maker's marks and hallmarks on the cream jug but still legible.
