Condition Report

CARTIER - a Must De Cartier Vendome wrist watch. Reference 590004, serial 020395. Signed quartz calibre 90. Cream dial with lozenge shaped hour markers, quarterly Roman numerals. Gold plated silver case fitted to a signed brown caiman strap with gold plated pin buckle. 24mm. Papers.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is not currently functioning, whether this is due to the need for a new battery or symptomatic of something more serious is unknown.
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Hands appear to be in a generally good condition
  • Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Case shows scratches, marks and dints. There is some visible lifting of the gold plating around the crown and the lug on the 6 o'clcok side.
  • Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Strap shows wear with visible marks, creasing and discolouration.
  • Buckle shows marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.

    This lot does not come with a box, but comes with papers to consist of a certificate dated 09.05.1989.
