A 9ct gold opal and ruby cluster ring. The circular opal cabochon, within a circular-shape ruby surround, to the openwork gallery and plain band. Import marks for London, 1998. Weight 3.3gms.

Purchasing information-
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. The band shows slight evidence of resize, minor unevenness. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for Coloured Gemstones. The opal is very slightly loose within the mount. Opal displays good play of colour across a range of hues. The rubies are a well matched medium deep pinkish red hue. One ruby with small chip. Some surface reaching inclusions. Diameter of ring 1.3cms. Ring size 3.3gms. The US prohibits the importation of items containing rubies or jadeite originating in Burma.
