A garnet and diamond dress ring.

Condition Report

A garnet and diamond dress ring. The foil back pear-shape garnet, with rose-cut diamond surround and crown surmount, to the openwork griffin mask and fleur-de-lys shoulders and grooved band. French assay marks. Total weight 4.5gms.

Purchasing information
    The lot is in fair overall condition with scratches in keeping with general wear. Replacement band. Replacement garnet, slight glue visible to mount. One diamond deficient. Some diamonds slightly ill-fitting, likely replacements. The diamonds are moderately well matched, drawing slightly in colour with varying inclusions, some surface reaching features.
