Condition Report

A late 19th century gold diamond brooch. Of circular outline, the rose-cut diamond cluster, within a grooved and rope-twist stepped surround, to the beaded edge. Diameter 3.6cms. Weight 10gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition fair. Some surface wear in keeping with age and general wear. Reverse panel deficient. Evidence of repair. Replacement catch and pin. Indentations and scratches to the reverse rim. Due to the nature of the rose-cut it has not been possible to provide an accurate total diamond weight. Diamonds fairly bright. Individual size prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Diamonds in fair condition with nicks and chips.
