Condition Report

A late 19th century gold gem-set ring. The split pearl and pink-gem cluster, between foliate embossed sides, to the grooved band. One split pearl deficient. Weight 3gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear and age. Band slightly out of shape. Band shows evidence of resize. Vacant glass panel to reverse of setting. The split pearls are fairly well matched with a creamy-white colour, some pink overtones and a muted to fair lustre. Some abrasion and peeling can be seen to some. The pink gems have a reddish-pink with bright to medium saturation, with nicks and abrasion. Approximate ring size P. Length of ring head 0.9cms.
