An Edwardian 9ct gold split pearl and peridot pendant. Of openwork design, the circular-shape peridot, within a split pearl surround. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1907. Length of pendant 4.2cms. Length of chain 49cms. Weight 3.8gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and minor discolouration in keeping with general wear and age.
- Some patches of heavier discoluration and abrasion to the reverse.
- One split pearl deficient.
- Peridot fairly bright yellowish-green with strong saturation and typical inclusions visible under magnification.
- Peridot in fair condition with abrasion visible to the facet edges.
- Split pearls fairly well matched with a whitish-grey to silvery-grey colour.
- Some split pearls may be replacement.
- Split pearls in good to fair condition, some show abrasion and peeling.
