Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair. Some surface wear and discolouration in keeping with general age and wear.

  • The beryl and diamond panel dates from the early 20th century, converted to a bar brooch. Bar is of a similar age. Minimal soft solder.

  • Diamonds fairly well matched, closed-back settings. Diamonds in fair condition with some significant nicks and chips.

  • Due to the closed-back settings and nature of the diamond point it has not been possible to calculate an accurate total diamond weight.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Beryl is within a green-colour foil-back setting. Appears colourless to the edges. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions.

  • Stone in fair to good condition with some abrasion and minor nicks to the facet edges.

  • Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers for coloured gemstones.

  • Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
