Condition Report

An early 20th century gold gem-set pendant. The replacement circular-shape cubic zirconia and setting, within an openwork scroll surround, suspending an oval-shape green tourmaline drop. Length 3.9cms. Weight 2.9gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear. There are areas of discolouration to the pendant in places.
  • The central claw mount and circular shape cubic zirconia have been added to the piece at a later date, Glue visible to the reverse of the setting.
  • The cubic zirconia is in good condition.
  • Tourmaline medium light green, fairly well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
