A late 19th century ruby and diamond crescent brooch. The oval and circular-shape rubies, interspaced by old-cut diamonds, with foliate engraving. Estimated total diamond weight 0.10ct. Length 2.9cms. Weight 4.6gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear and light scratches in keeping with general age and wear.

- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Diamonds in fair to good condition, two with significant nicks/small chips.
- Rubies medium pinkish-red, fairly well saturated, fairly good clarity and typical inclusions.
- Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles.
