A late 19th century gold split pearl, diamond and enamel brooch. The split pearl and black enamel line, over the rose-cut diamond and blue enamel line, to the tapered engraved sides with cultured pearl accents. Length 4.7cms. Weight 13.2gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.There are some areas of greening to the back of the brooch. The back brooch fitting is a later replacement. Visible area of lead solder to reverse.
- There are some small chips and areas of wear to the enamel
- Diamond fairly well matched.
- Diamonds fairly bright.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
- Split pearls fairly well matched, there are some fine cracks to the nacre of some.
- Glue residue visible to the cultured pearl accents, visible blisters and blemishes to the cultured pearls.
