Condition Report

An early 20th century gold split pearl and diamond ring. The split pearl line, with old-cut diamond accents, to the scrolling shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.10ct. Hallmarks indistinct. Weight 4.3gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear and scratches in keeping with general age and wear.

  • Evidence of repair and resizing to the band.

  • Area of scratches to the outer band and some small patches of discolouration to the inner and outer band.

  • Wear to the settings. Possible replacement stones.

  • Diamonds fairly bright and well matched.

  • Diamonds in fair condition, mostly with minor abrasion and nicks, one with a large nick, one chipped.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Ring size N1/2.
