Condition Report

A 9ct gold amethyst and diamond insect brooch. Designed as a bee in flight, with circular and oval-shape amethyst body, to the single-cut diamond wings. Estimated total diamond weight 0.15ct. Hallmarks for London, partially indistinct. Length 2.4cms. Weight 3.1gms.

  • Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with general wear.

  • With integral loop, may be worn as a pendant.

  • Diamond fairly well matched.

  • Diamonds fairly bright.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Diamonds in fair to good condition with some large nicks.

  • Amethysts purple with good to deep colour saturation. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions.

  • Stones in good condition with minor abrasion.
