A late 19th century cultured pearl and diamond brooch. Of openwork design, the cultured pearl, measuring 6mms, within an old, single and rose-cut diamond foliate panel. Estimated total diamond weight 1ct. Length 5.7cms. Weight 8.2gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear and discolouration in keeping with general age and wear.
- Replacement brooch fitting, possibly converted from another item of jewellery. Cultured pearl is a possible replacement. Wear to the settings. Evidence of repairs.
- Cultured pearl creamy yellow, fairly good skin with some surface blemishes, slightly uneven surface.
- Diamonds fairly well matched.
- Large inclusions visible to the unaided eye, many are surface reaching. Durability of some may be impaired. Diamonds in fair to good condition, with some significant nicks and chips.
- Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
