Condition Report

An 18ct gold emerald and diamond ring. The alternating circular-shape ruby and brilliant-cut diamond line, to the tapered band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.15ct. Import marks for Sheffield, 1990. Weight 2.7gms.

  • Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Band shows evidence of repair/ resize.
  • Diamonds bright and well matched.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Small, scattered inclusions under 10x.

  • The emeralds are a well matched deep medium slightly bluish green hue, well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions including surface reaching features.

  • Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.

  • Ring size K 1/2.
