Condition Report

BREITLING - a gentleman's Windrider J-Class chronograph wrist watch. Reference D53067, serial 80290. Signed quartz calibre B53. Black dial with luminous hour markers, Arabic numeral twelve, subsidiary recorder dials to two, six and ten, date aperture between four and five. Yellow metal calibrated bezel, stainless steel case fitted to a signed black leather strap with stainless steel deployant clasp. 41mm.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is not currently functioning, whether this is due to the need for a new battery or symptomatic of something more serious is unknown. We have therefore been unable to test the chronograph function.
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.
  • Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Hands show marks and tarnishing with discolouration to the luminous paint.
  • Glass has some scratches and marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Case shows scratches, marks and dints. Bezel currently rotates correctly.
  • Crown screws down and is currently functioning correctly; the surface has noticeable scratches and dinting.
  • Strap shows wear with visible marks, creasing and discolouration.
  • Buckle shows noticeable marks and scratches.

    This lot does not come with box or papers.

    Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
