A late 19th century gold gem-set memorial brooch. The oval and circular-shape garnet and colourless gem cluster, within a scalloped and foliate panel, to the vacant panel reverse. Length 4.1cms. Weight 10.8gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear, areas of discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
- Replacement pin and catch, soft solder.
- Evidence of repair to one end, with indentation to the back panel edge.
- Replacement gems.
- Garnets medium reddish-purple, fairly well saturated, fair clarity with typical inclusions.
- Stones in good condition with minor abrasions and a few nibbles.
