Condition Report

A late Victorian memorial brooch. The banded agate cabochon to the scrolling engraved surround to the black enamel and scrollwork border and vacant glazed panel to the reverse. Length 3.5cms.

Purchasing information
    The overall condition of this lot is good, with surface scratches and discolouration to the metal and light chips and scratches to the enamel in keeping with age and wear. Small chip approx 1mm to the glass panel to the reverse. Small dent to the metal to the reverse. Believed to be gold plated. Weight 12.9gms. Replacement pin.
