An early 20th century gold diamond and ruby bracelet. The tonneu-shape panel with rose-cut diamond plus sign and square-shape ruby minus sign detail, with sentimental message in French, to the curb-link chain. Length 19cms. Weight 11.9gms.

Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and minor discolouration in keeping with general wear and age. Vacant hinged panel to the reverse. Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight estimation. Diamonds well matched. Diamonds bright and lively. Light and dark coloured inclusions can be seen with magnification. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate and full colour and clarity assessment. Rubies well matched, with a purplish-red hue and good saturation, with typical inclusions. Stones in good to fair condition with abrasion and small nibbles to facet edges. Safety chain possible later addition.
