Condition Report

A late 19th century split pearl memorial ring. The arranged hair panel, within a split pearl horseshoe, to the replacement near period 9ct gold band with scroll shoulders. One split pearl deficient. Total weight 2.9gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition fair. Some surface wear in keeping with age. Composite piece, made up of elements of a similar age. Horseshoe and arranged hair panel dates from the late 19th century. Replacement band dates from the late 19th to early 20th century, stamped 9ct. Fracture to the glass panel, nibbles and nicks. One split pearl deficient. Some replacement split pearls. Split pearls generally in fair condition with surface wear and significant fractures, one chipped. Ring size S1/2.
