Condition Report

Two Victorian brooches. To include a mid-Victorian mourning brooch designed as a marquise-shape woven hair panel with overlaid initials to the seed-pearl surround and reverse painted panel depicting a lady in mourning, together with a late Victorian silver circular brooch of geometric patterns. Lengths 3.2 to 4cms. Weight 16.2gms.

Purchasing information
    The overall condition of this lot is good, with surface scratches and discolouration to the metal in keeping with age and wear. The circular brooch has scratches to the reverse and may have part of the back deficient. Some accumulated dirt to the woven hair panel of the mourning brooch.
