An early Victorian diamond and enamel mourning brooch. The flower outline brooch designed as a red enamel oval-shape centre to the ten old-cut diamonds and black enamel surround with personal engraving to the reverse. Length 2.4cms. Weight 6.3gms.

Purchasing information-
The overall condition of this lot is good, with surface scratches to the metal and enamel in keeping with age and wear. Some discolouration to the metal to the reverse. Personal inscription to the reverse reads 'Louis Hayes Petit Obt 13th Nov, 1849. Aet 75'. It has been re-enamelled.
