A mid 19th century 15ct gold enamel and turquoise brooch

Condition Report

A mid 19th century 15ct gold enamel and turquoise sentimental brooch. The graduated turquoise cabochon loop and interwoven scrolling blue and white enamel ribbon, suspending a similarly-set drop and snake-link swag. Length 7.8cms. Weight 15.9gms.

Purchasing information
    The lot is in fair overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Glazed panel to reverse with lock of hair. Two turquoise deficient to tapered loop. Losses and chips to the enamel. Small fissure to the front of the brooch where the clasp is to the reverse. Possible replacement pin. General dirt and slight discolouration.
