An early 20th century gold sapphire and diamond crescent brooch. Designed as a series of graduated oval-shape sapphires, with old-cut diamond intervals. Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct. Length 5.2cms. Weight 4.9gms.

Purchasing information- Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear. There are some areas of discolouration in places.
- Solder visible to the pin, where it has been replaced
- Diamonds appear quite grey, several are chipped, with significant inclusions.
- Sapphires medium purplish blue, fairly well saturated, with fair clarity and typical inclusions, many visible with the unaided eye.
- Sapphires slightly vary in colour, some with a deeper saturation of colour.
- Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.
