Condition Report

CARTIER - an Autoscaph 21 wrist watch. Stainless steel case with chapter ring bezel. Reference 2427, serial 20298PL. Signed automatic calibre 049. Black tapestry dial with luminous hour markers, date aperture to three. Fitted to a signed rubber strap with stainless steel deployant clasp. 36mm.

Purchasing information
  • Movement is currently functioning.
  • Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Hands appear to be in a generally good condition.
  • Glass appears free of significant scratches or marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
  • Case shows scratches, marks and dints.
  • Crown screws down and is currently functioning correctly; the surface has light scratches and marking.
  • Strap shows marks and creasing. Strap is however at fault. The rubber has completely come apart in one place. This is a clean tear through the rubber. As it is the watch can not be worn. Strap will need replacing.
  • Buckle shows marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.

    This lot does not come with box or papers.
