CARTIER - a Tank Francaise chronograph bracelet watch. Stainless steel case. Reference 2653, serial 198542CE. Signed quartz calibre 222. Silvered dial with Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary recorder dials to four and eight, date aperture to twelve. Fitted to a signed bi-metal bracelet with double folding clasp. 28mm.

Purchasing information- Movement is not currently functioning. Despite replacing the battery, movement is not functioning. We have therefore been unable to test the chronograph function.
- Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.
- Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe.
- Hands appear to be in a generally good condition.
- Glass appears free of significant scratches or marks when viewed under a 4x loupe.
- Case shows scratches, marks and dints. There is some pitting to the sides of the case.
- Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has noticeable scratches and dinting. The sapphire stone of the crown has some impact damage and is chipped to the edges.
- Bracelet has medium scratches and some signs of stretching to links.
- Clasp is currently functioning and shows light scratches and marks
- Bracelet measures approximately 17.5cm including case.
This lot does not come with box or papers.

Due to opening of the case back we recommend this watch is re-sealed by an authorised technician to ensure any stated water resistance is retained.
