Condition Report

An early 20th century 9ct gold garnet-topped-doublet and split pearl hinged bangle. The heart-shape garnet-topped-doublet, within an openwork split pearl surround, to the plain half bangle. Split pearls deficient. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1911. Inner diameter 6cms. Weight 7.5gms.

Purchasing information
    Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches, small dents and bruises with discolouration in keeping with general wear. The possibly replacement garnet-topped-doublet has a bright yellowish-green colour with typical inclusions. The split pearls have a silvery-grey colour discoloured due to age, all show varied levels of abrasion. Some are possible replacement. Split pearls untested for natural origin.
