Condition Report

Two early to mid 20th century 18ct gold and platinum sapphire and diamond rings. To include a square-shape sapphire ring with vari-cut diamond geometric surround and sides, together with a similarly-set scalloped cluster ring. Estimated total diamond weight 0.15ct. Weight 6gms.

Purchasing information
  • Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Band shows evidence of repair/ resize to at least one of the rings.
  • Diamonds bright and well matched.

  • Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

  • Sapphires are a bright medium and deep medium blue hue, varying saturation and tone, with good clarity and typical inclusions.

  • Stones in good to fair condition with some abrasion to the girdle and facet edges.

  • Ring sizes O and O 1/2.

  • Stamped 18ct and plat.
