Condition Report

A Victorian silver bonbon dish of eclectic style, the circular lobed form embossed with masks and fruit and standing on four stylised scrolling griffin supports, hallmarked Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co (William Gibson & John Lawrence Langman), London 1895, diameter measuring 3 1/2 inches (9 cm). Together with an Edwardian stamped silver dish embossed with the Worshipful Company of Mercers crest, hallmarked Sheffield 1902 and a silver mount for a butter dish, hallmarked Birmingham 1954. Gross weight 7.5 ozt (234 grams). (3).

Purchasing information
    The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. One of the supports to the Victorian dish has broken. Loss of definition to the decoration on the stamped dish. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
