A George III silver teapot stand, the oval form with central crest engraving, raised edge with beaded rim and standing on four claw and ball feet. Hallmarked London 1783, the maker probably Robert Hennell I. Length measuring 6 3/4 inches (17 cm), weight 4.7 ozt (149 grams).

The lot displays general scratches, marks wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Minor dints. Crest a little rubbed. The hallmarks are clear and legible. Maker's mark partly erased.
