Condition Report

BAUME & MERCIER - a gentleman's chronograph watch head. Yellow metal case, stamped 18K with poincon. Reference 3920, serial 107839. Signed automatic movement. Silvered dial with Arabic numeral hour markers, subsidiary recorder dials to three and nine. 35mm.

  • Movement is not currently functioning.
  • Movement is worn with some significant tarnishing and noticeable scratches and marks visible to the naked eye. Balance is broken and will need replacement.
  • Dial appears to be in a poor condition with noticeable marks, scratches, tarnishing.
  • Hands show noticeable marks and tarnishing
  • Glass has noticeable scratches and marks.
  • Case shows noticeable scratches, marks and dints. Lugs have fixed bars broken and will need to be drilled out for a strap to be fitted.
  • Crown is currently functioning correctly; the surface has noticeable scratches and dinting.Crown does not wind the watch due to problems with the movement.

    This lot does not come with box or papers.
