Condition Report

Four items of jewellery. To include a blue and white enamel butterfly brooch, a Scottish agate sword brooch, with two further brooches. Marks to indicate silver. Lengths 4 to 6cms. Weight 25gms.

  • Overall condition fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general age and wear.
  • Enamel with light to moderate abrasion.
  • The paste cat and bird brooch has a number of stones missing.
  • Two brooches with clasp pins and attachments deficient.
  • Stamps 935 and SILVER, 'K' enamel brooch with silver hallmarks for 1987.
