Condition Report

Two late 19th century gold gem-set rings. To include an 18ct gold split pearl cluster ring, together with a 15ct gold ruby and split pearl ring. One with hallmarks for Birmingham, 1879. Total weight 4.5gms.

  • Overall condition good. Light surface scratches to bands in keeping with general wear.

  • Three split pearls with noticeable surface wear, nacre almost completely deficient.

  • Some of the split pearls are possible replacements.

  • Stamped 18ct.

  • Ring sizes K1/2 and N1/2.

  • Rubies with light surface abrasions.
